10/20/2025
To implement the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and the spirit of the Kuala Lumpur Declaration, and to further strengthen cooperation between ASEAN countries and China in the field of vocational education, the Southeast Asia Youth Sustainable Development Foundation (PASITA) and the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED) officially launched the “China–ASEAN Industry–Education Integration ‘Core’ Initiative” (hereafter referred to as the “Core” Initiative) on October 15, 2025, during the 2025 China–Indonesia Education–Industry Collaboration Summit hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of Indonesia.
The “Core” initiative aims to establish a forward-looking regional platform for industry–education integration, promoting coordinated development in vocational education standards, curriculum systems, teaching resources, faculty training, and training base construction. It seeks to help enterprises achieve localized and sustainable talent development goals while providing ASEAN youth with greater opportunities for technical advancement and career growth.

PASITA has authorized Chengdu XUE ER SHI XING Education Consulting Co., Ltd. (Go Study Global Education) as the implementing unit of the initiative, assisting in the overall organization and execution of the program. PASITA warmly welcomes enterprises, higher education institutions, and government bodies across the region to actively participate and contribute to building an open, inclusive, and mutually beneficial framework for regional industry–education cooperation.
As a non-profit organization committed to youth empowerment and sustainable development in Southeast Asia, PASITA will continue to work closely with governments, educational institutions, and industry partners to create more opportunities for young people to learn, exchange, and grow.
